Happy Friday everyone. Another beautiful week is coming to an end. I hope you guys are ready for the weekend. My weekend is jam-packed with a brunch, birthday and family time. For todays look I opted for a bold white lace dress. I wouldn’t really say it is out of my comfort zone but it’s definitely not something that I am use to wearing.
I do think it is sad though when as grown women we contemplate what we should and should not wear. Not because how it will make us feel but solely because what would others think about me. I have come way past that phase in my life but I see the same struggle everyday. Specially if you are from south asia. It is a real issue. You have to constantly think about parents, husband, in-laws and sometimes your kids too.
All I can say is we have one life and there should be no regrets in that life. If wearing something edgy makes you feel good then do it. Or if doing something makes you feel alive then go for it.
When I contemplate any decision in my life. It usually starts with ‘how would I feel about this decision 10 years from now?’ and it could be for a dress, a new business or a new job. My answer almost always is even if I fail I will be glad that I tried or gave it my best shot.
I hope you all have somewhat similar thought process too. Have a great weekend!!
