Hi everyone – I have spent a big chunk of my life advocating for women’s rights. Most of the time by sharing others horror stories or the triumphs that women have faced. It has been my passion and at times this has had a positive and negative impact on me and others surrounding me. So today I am beginning a new chapter in my life and it will focus on sharing the positive. The positive stories of women whether they originated from pain or happiness. It is not to say that sadness is not a stark reality of life and obviously the news media does a great job of reminding us of that 24/7. Lately there has been just too many depressing stories around from war, various types of abuse to racial violence, they all touch our hearts and sometimes make us miserable to think we are living in such bad times. However at times it is far from the truth because there are equal (if not more) stories of joy, courage and love, which no one wants to talk about because maybe they don’t ‘sell’ as well. The good thing is this blog is not about selling stories so we can share all the positivity in the world. So from now on the focus of the stories will be positivity.
On a lighter note – today’s post is in my $33 rose embroidered lace dress (totally reminds me of Dolce & Gabanna’s 2015-2016 fall collection for a fraction of the price). I love this dress from Shein but as I always recommend if you end up buying it make sure it is one size up from your usual size. I also really love the one in black.
Much love to all of you and thank you for stopping by!
