Happy Sunday everyone. As promised I am sharing my night-time cleansing routine. Although it is not a very extensive regimen, it does help keep my skin clear and truly looking healthy. My cleansing routine gets me unready at night so my skin is looking its best in the morning. Most of my days include sometimes several shoots and so I have to always be camera-ready, but nighttime is when I really prepare my skin by making sure it’s completely clean before I go to bed.
My cleansing process starts with removing all the makeup and dirt off my face using Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes. I have used several different makeup removers in the past and most just don’t take off all the makeup and others end up breaking me out or really drying my sensitive skin.
Once the skin has no trace of makeup left then I use Neutrogena’s deep clean gentle scrub to re-energize my skin and get a plumpy & squeaky-clean feel.
Also wanted to add that a little bit goes a long way and I recommend to gently scrub the skin and not to press the scrub too hard on the skin.
I have been using Neutrogena for years now for my oily, acne prone, sensitive skin and it always works like a charm. After cleansing my skin I apply a light lotion, occasionally a skin serum and my night time cream and then I am all unready for the night.
We all have incredibly busy lives but the only way to be ready for each day is to take care of yourself (including your skin), give yourself time to unwind and truly love yourself. No matter how busy your day was, or the next day will be the best way to tackle it is by unwinding every night and getting your beauty rest.
Fabulous, confident and, in my case, camera-ready days need unready nights. Hope you all enjoyed today’s post. Would love to hear your feedback. Also, this week CVS is offering 50% off one item when you buy a Neutrogena Wipe and Cleanser together. So, whether you are shopping online or in-store don’t forget to save some money.
Thank you for stopping by!
