Hi Guys, I know it’s been a while but I was kind of occupied with my work so could not continue posting about my video series – Thinking about divorce or separation. In the last video, we talked about self-acceptance and how is it going to help you once you have taken the decision to divorce your spouse. Today, we are going to discuss the legal issues pertaining to divorce that you need to take into account. It is very important to seek help from the professionals. As most of you might have observed, most people don’t seek professional help right away and they first talk to friends, family and do online research which really doesn’t help with the whole process. I suggest you do not do this and always go to professionals for any legal advice. If you think the legal advice is too expensive for you, do proper research before you can come to a conclusion. There are plenty of online tools that can help you with the process ranging from details about various lawyers and also details on things like how to file for child custody/separation and divorce agreement etc.

Once you have taken the decision of separation, you have to figure out all these things as early as possible. As for me, I knew it that the road that I am taking for this journey will lead me to the end of the relationship and trust me it was not easy. Living together as a couple was bad, but separation was even worst. The realization that something is now broken beyond repair was really painful. But eventually, I did find answers to all my questions and things started getting into their right place. I really hope that each one of you who are going through a similar situation as mine also finds the answer to what is best for them and figure out the way out of this difficult situation as soon as possible.
